Let's talk some more about tattoos, shall we?

I know we have threads, and I know we talk about them in different places, but......here we are.

Now that I just have touch ups left on my chest, I'm trying to decide what to get to cover up my little blip of a tat. on my hip. I think I want to get something that ties in with my chest piece.

eta: I deleted that creepy picture. It was just too creepy!

Or I should just settle for my feet.  I always wear close-toed shoes for work.  I really like shell's foot ink.

I can say after Saturday that it looks even better in real life! : )

HH, I would be careful getting palm ink.  As VR said it is hard to get ink to stay on the palm/sole of foot.

My tat guy managed to persuade me (quite easily) not to get my ink too far down on my foot - I wanted it as low down as poss.  He said that he could put a tattoo on there but it would fade so much and not last.
I'm so glad I listened as the bit right on the inside on the wrinkly/sole-y (not right word but not sure what to call it) bit of my foot had a whole leaf fall off a few weeks after I had it done.  So the inside of one of the leaves is really really pale and also the flower on the inside is paler than it should be.
I really should have got it touched up but I never got round to it and now I'm used to it so can't be arsed!

My tattoo guy is pretty impressed that my clover is still so pretty and bright. Its pretty darn low down on my ankle/foot region and he was kind of on the edge of not doing it.

I went today with my friend, since shes getting one next month. I'm getting mine, on the 20th. Which marks 3 years since my dad died. I'm pretty excited to get it. I'm not going to tell my mom. And I'm going to get it early so I'll be home way before shes home from work and she'll see it when she gets home. Hah. It'll just be 60 dollars so I can totally afford it right now too. Eee.

Also, hes pretty stoked about veggies later in the year, and I think he wants to do them so bad he might do one for free or extra cheap (like 50ish). Stoked. Its like a frequent buyer card. But I'm the card and my tattoos are the punches. Haha.

I really thought it would hurt, since it was on my ribs. BUT IT DIDN'T.
And I have had 3 people think whole said "whore" already. Haha.

uS- that's awesome!!  Yay for affirmations.  I have to admit I saw "whore" too at quick glance...I think it's one of those things your brain anticipates with the context- "I AM" plus a five letter word that starts with "WHO-" and ends with E.

Your dad would be so honored at your positive tributes to him!

I've got to ask... what is the least painful place to get a tattoo? I really would like to get one, but I am too nervous.

I would say back tattoos are the easiest to take

Thanks, I'll have to keep that in mind for when I can get up the nerve, lol!

I don't really think one spot is less painful than another. I don't really think any of them hurt. Meh.
My vag tattoo was least painful, because it tickled. Lol.
