Open letters
Seeing as we've got confessions and problems and issues springing up in threads all over the shop, I thought it might be interesting to have an open letter thread. Cathartic, perhaps. From your mother ruining your wedding, to your boyfriend who can't stop peeing on the toilet seat, or even that guy on the bus who kept making that annoying noise with his mouth, get it out here.
I'll get the ball rolling.
To my dear darling boyfriend,
Just because you are technically 'clean' when you come out the shower, it doesn't mean that I am okay with using the same towel you've been rubbing all over yourself for a month. I know you have others. I bought you two myself. Drag them out from the murky depths of the laundry basket, wash them and allow me the temporary use of a clean one.

Well. I'm not a person who generally just enjoys non-fiction..so I can't say for sure....but it seems to me that any person who enjoys witty, clever, hilarious, hard to put down reading material would enjoy reading it! It's not even hard to get into..or anything, just good. You should try it! A copy is on its way to KMK!

I'm so glad you like the book! He is an amazing writer and YOU LIVE SO CLOSE TO DJD!!!! You could run into him at the hfs and not even know it. What part are you on? I was a little worried because I have recommended it to a few people who have been like, uh.....its OK...hard to get into, and then I always get sad, 'cause I love it so. But perhaps they are just not as cool as you. That was nice of you to send one to KMK. We may have to start a thread to discuss.

Dear HH and everyone else,
Read it! It is a different writing style (lots of puns and plays on words, some chapters written in form of letters, newspaper articles, etc.), but extremely interesting characters, and very intelligent and witty writing that makes you realize things about yourself and your own relationships with people. Helps if you are interested in or at last don't mind reading about baseball, religion, India, and complicated family relationships.

Dear Work,
You are not so fun anymore since part of the building was declared unsafe, including the washroom, meaning I have to walk to the building next door every time I have to go (which since I drink a lot of water and eat a lot of fiber...is often!). Also I am lonely because the admin assistant had to move out of her area (also unsafe) and now we cannot chat. Normal people do not have to work in buildings that are partially condemned...

But alas, I caved and went alone today. It was smaller than I expected, and they did not have as much pure vegan goodness as I expected, but it was still awesome! I had french toast and OMG it was good!!
