We all have 'em. We usually just use "OLEN" when we need to get his attention.
We most often call him: hey youuuuuuuu, Oleweas (if you don't know, I'm not explaining), fish ass (his anal glands are active every once and a while, and fishy), fish bootweas, sweet boy, good boy, and P calls him Bud and Buddy. Probably some other random ones. What are yours?
my dad (and everyone else in my family) calls my dogs "hey stupid!" i call them puppies. hehe
when I got my cat, her name was Midnight, I could never get used to calling her that so I call her Baby

Phantom is neurotic and chews the fur off his butt so we call him "butt munch" and "bare butt bob".

Oz is a shapeshifter and we call him "shifter" and sometimes "Ozmeister".

What does Oz shift into?
Cobra. I've had many cats over the years, but he is just bizarre.
I called our dog Jo-Jo 'Jomo' most of the time, we call my in-laws' puppy Bosco 'Ninja' because he's soo slinky and silent, the in-laws' cat Buffy I tend to call 'pussycattus', and I call our friends' cat George, who we have looked after a few times, 'Georgiekitten'.

Pookie.
our pug is often called Piggy because he sounds like one. or just Boy.
Delilah used to like me to coo her name "deliiiiiilah....Babbbbyyyyyy" and she'd come running. I miss that lil imp *tear*

Lucy: lucie, lulu, luz, looloos,
Toby: toooooobeeee, tobino, tobito, toby-kun, mr. man
as you can see, my cats are multicultural. but the names are all kind of boring... when i was younger, we had a cat named aloysius. he was also aloe, wishus, fuzzzmuffin (he was unusually fuzzy. he had a "fro"), sir aloysius, teddybear, and fuzzawuzzakins. My sister is responsible for most of those names.
My cats have many nicknames. They are usually just variations on a theme.
Wilma is also known as: Wilma Bear, Miss Wilma Bear Purrins
Murray is also known as: Mur Man the Furry Fur Man.
My boyfriend laughs, because I call him and our dog, Oliver, the same pet names!
Booger, Boog, or Boogie
Booby
Bear
Mr. Pants
Bean
Little Man
I don't think I call him Oliver very often!
