Vegan Cookies at Starbucks

Just something I read about and though I'd pass along. Good to know, when my daughter begs for non-vegan doughnuts at the store, I can get her a cookie sometimes, instead. Anyone tried them? Are they good?
that's cool! I haven't seen them, but I don't go to Starbucks that often after I stopped working there : / The blueberry oat bar and the multigrain muffin used to be vegan, but I think that has changed (and also depends on your region. but you can check with the "nutrition" part of the website).
They've sold some vegan goods at the Starbucks-es near my home town for a while - a fruit swirl, two different bars (one organic!) and a fudge brownie which shows up sporadically. It depends on their suppliers, since Starbucks tends to source a lot of their baked goods from nearer bakeries so things are reasonably fresh. At least, they did where I was. Bellingham and Vancouver and the Vancouver 'burbs each had their own set of food items.
I think I once had a vegan orange something scone (?) at Starbucks. I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple things there before. I've only been to 3-4 of them, but it was ok. It's always nice to have options.
YEP!!! I've had the cookies and they are good. I think they're also gluten free..... I got mine from Whole Foods though...

The only vegan cookies I've seen so far here are those packaged Dr. Lucy's ones mentioned before. Cinnamon thins, sugar and chocolate chip. Nothing fresh baked.
I've tried the ginger and chocolate chip(unpackaged) vegan cookies at Peet's Coffee. Big round flat cookies. Pretty good.
As a former Starbucks employee it warms my heart to know they offer such a product. Let's hope others follow suit to keep the discussion going!
Does Starbucks make anyone else nervous? my bf went there and ordered a soy latte, and they made it in the milk container! That just makes me a little concerned.
Rarely do I go to Starbucks, but I will never go to the drive-up - I go inside and watch them make my drink like a crazy person - I've caught them using real milk instead of soy before - so I don't go there very often, like never really.
I can taste milk - it always tastes sour to me. Always.
the only things I really can't taste it in is baked goods.
I didn't realize they sold any vegan baked goods.
I almost never go to Starbucks:
1. waste of money, UNLESS it's a once-in-awhile treat (everyday seems silly).
2. the nearest one is 30 minutes away
3. too many calories for coffee - which I dislike anyways.
my mom goes there when we go into town every once in awhile, and she gets one every time.
I get one maybe 1/4 times... because it's late at night and I've already eaten enough.
I still haven't seen any vegan cookies at Starbucks, and I check every time. Has anyone else seen them in Indiana or the midwest? It disappoints me every time!
Recently had the cinnamon packaged vegan cookies and liked them and also tried the vegan frap and it was pretty good! I wish they offered vegan "whipped cream"... one of the hardest things to give up for me is whipped cream, but I am doing it :)
my starbucks didnt have them when i went yesterday. bummerrr.
but on the bright side, with the 2 bucks i was gonna use on that, i got an entire veggie roll of sushi. :D

There is a separate container for the non-dairy milk. They do this to avoid any sensitivity issues with guests who cannot have dairy. Never had a problem ordering there. I have a few friends who either work there or have worked there, and they are all very conscious about not cross-contaminating anything :)
when i worked there, sometimes people would have non fat in the whole milk container or half & half in the non fat container, etc, because containers ran out/business. i think it's too confusing to do this, even if you run the container through the wash afterward. the barista could go on break and forget. it's just easier to stick with the appropriate container.
that might have been the case for the dairy pitcher & soymilk, VR. i didn't usually see someone mix up allergens like that though.
... but they did it with the frappuccino pitchers much more often. there are "non dairy" ones which were rarely used, so they were like the reserve pitcher. even when i'd order a (soy) blended beverage, they tended to use the dairy one out of habit.

they don't have them here, (MN.) They don't even know what I'm talking about when I ask for them. They have nothing vegan besides Clif bars
I go to a Sbux in Ponte Vedra, FL, twice a week, and they're super about added soy milk to my coffee. They have a multigrain bagel that's vegan along w/their oatmeal, and just Wed. I saw that they'd added several snack-type packages that were vegan and one was (supposedly) raw. I love my Sbux. :)>>>
