I didn't want to hijack the thread on vegan boots/shoes so I'll ask my question here. I have what my mother calls flexible arches and I can never tell if a pair of shoes will fit and not hurt like hell unless I try them on and walk around the store with them on. I, therefore, would never buy shoes on-line or from a catalog. I don't like the hassle of having to send things back. How about the rest of you?
I've only bought shoes online that I KNOW will fit. That pretty much is limited to Puma sneakers.
Unreleatedly, are you back for good?
I can't say I won't get so involved in other activities that I quit posting on vegweb but I'll try not to. I'm back now so enjoy me while you can. :D
I voted for if i have the same type already. This is only really in the case of converse, because all of their shoes are the same.
Or if it was the same basic design of another shoe i'd consider it. But other wise, just getting shoes scares me. I dont even really have a set shoe size in my mind, i just try on ones until they feel right. Barely any of my shoes are the same size.
Zappos has a pretty big selection of vegan shoes, with free shipping and free returns.
I love my Earth SHoes (vegan). I bought my first pair online and loved them so much that I recently bought a second pair online. Once you've had them, you will always want them!
I am pretty much always a 6 no matter what, so its not that hard to find a fitting shoe for me.
I recently bought a pair of loafers. I needed a dress shoe, and prayed that they'd fit AND THEY DO! Before this purchase, I have only bought vans and converse online because I already know how they fit me. Luckily, most stores have great decent return policies. Yes, it can be a hassle, but I think the animals you're saving would appreciate you if they could :)
I've bought shoes on line without trying them or the same brand before - generally off ebay, 2nd hand. I never pay too much for them though so if they don't fit I don't mind charity shopping them.
l2a, I love Earth shoes!!!! I have two pairs, one dressy and one casual. Such great quality.
I buy online so as to get good quality vegan shoes. I've used Zappos and PlanetShoes with good results.
I'm a pretty easy fit, and don't need to try shoes one, but need good quality shoes with a strong arch.
