new vegan finds!

i'd like to start a thread of new things you happen across or discover that are vegan. i browse around in the grocery store quite a bit, reading labels, and sometimes find some pretty interesting and surprising vegan foods!
so anyway, one i found this weekend is....banana babies! they're from diana's bananas and the dark chocolate ones are vegan. they're just frozen bananas dipped in chocolate, but..mmmm. the chocolate is a tiny bit waxy, but all in all, i thought it was a pretty good find.
also, many of marie calendar's fruit pies are vegan as well, which is awesome for a yummy, fatty dessert when i don't feel like making one, haha...
anyone else been finding something cool and yummy?

Amy's Organic Cakes (Orange & Chocolate)
I've only tried the orange and it's pretty good. It brought back a childhood memory, when I was little my friend's mother would always purchase those Sara Lee frozen pound cakes, which we would eat with vanilla ice cream. Those were good times!!!
It's convenience is awesome. It's price on the other hand is ok....$6. I will be trying out the chocolate one but I'm not in too much of a rush to get to it...
Anyone else tried these?
I haven't tried them, but this reminds me to add them to the snack review! I thought I had added them to some review, at some point..but I don't know which one it would have been.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! that was gonna be my genius idea for a new product that would make me millions of dollars!! worst day ever :'(
(some kid thought of making chicken cordon bleu with beef and some other filling, but same idea, and a company gave him 10, 000 dollars. i would like to have such an idea :( )

today i went to the grand opening of the 3rd largest whole foods in the world and i saw so many new vegan finds that my head would explode right now if i tried to remember them all.
i'm sorry.
but frozen tamales were included (the sample was ok, but i don't think im a tamale gal), and a cheeseless vegan pizza by some company called new york pizza.. something.. ? it was in a white pizza delivery style cardboard box.

trader joes- dark chocolate truffle seashells. they look pretty & delicious..
At Whole Foods today (alas, not the fancy new one downtown, just the regular one out here), there were samples of a new vegan meat. They had like ground chicken, ground pork, ground sausage, stuff like that in packages like you'd see frozen ground meat sold. I think I tried the sausage kind. It was pretty tasty! I think it's called like Match or something.. I will have to check. Kinda expensive though..

I just found out that one of the local pizza places (with delivery) has vegan cheese!
Wait, there is somewhere in MT with delivery vegan pizza (with cheese)?! I have hope for my visits back home (send some of those vegan vibes out east a bit...they need to make it all the way to Billings!).

Apparently! The Bridge pizza here in Missoula (downtown). I've yet to have the vegan pizza...we should do that soon.

Ok, so I searched high and low for these dern cookies....guess where they were? In the seasonal aisle in Wal-Mart. These are amazing!!!! I'm thinking about crushing them up and blending them with some soymilk or soy ice cream.....

well, i'm glad they werent a disappointment! i think trader joes, whole foods & clif bar should be paying me for all the times i refer people to their products.

edamame crisps - crackers in a bag
and lentil & potato curls.. they look like curly puffs and say vegan on the front of the bag.. however, the ingredient list includes "pre-gelatinized potato starch" ... so.... is there some sorta veg source that they're using?
Yeah, thats vegan, its the potatos that make the gel like substance. I think?
