Yoga Every Day!

So I'm trying to get myself to do yoga everyday. I'm working to improve my overall health and making an effort to do at least some yoga every day can't hurt. I figure that I might stick with it better if I force myself to publicly keep track of it. Feel free to join in if you want! Even 10 minutes a day counts. Have fun and Namaste!

10 minute yoga routine this morning, with another 35 minute session soon to follow.

I love doing yoga! I will try to do it everyday with you, virtualy. hehe. If you have a dog you can try dogi yoga (doga) I've heard it really relaxing for your dog. I have a dog but I haven't tried this yet. Hope to soon. Good luck with ur yoga!  :)>>>

I'm an everyday yogi as well. I really enjoy exploring the spiritual, meditative, and philosophical dimensions of yoga beyond asana, so in many aspects I'm striving to live yoga every moment of the day!.

Yoga is a beautiful practice that has truly transformed the way I relate to myself and the world around me. Good luck on your journey, and please share any discoveries you make along the way. :)

Yoga every day!  - wonderful. Been practicing for 20 years. I do it every day. I work on a computer all day and it saves my back. If I skip I feel my back going. It keeps me toned and defiantly improves my mood. There are some nice podcast videos on yogajournal.com. I cannot afford yoga classes. But I did try to drop in to a studio occasionally at first to make sure I had proper alignment.  that way when I practice at home I do not hurt myself. Also there is so much to learn. and you can do it into your old age. Its a lifetime of learning. take your time and enjoy!

getting stared is the hardest part. then its hard to stop. try going to the matt with the intention of only doing child's poise and just breathing. see what happens next. if you just do that, it will be doing yoga. and better than doing nothing that day. good luck!

Got back from a yoga class a little bit ago. I haven't been to one in about 2 years so it was really nice to go. I haven't done yoga on a regular basis for some time. I don't know if i will be going to class every week, it's a monetary issue unfortunately, otherwise i would like be there every week. The teacher said I seemed to have some idea as to what I was doing, so I must not have forgotten everything I learned in the last two years. :) I'm glad that others here are interested in this as well.

I tried some intermediate yoga today, it was a little too intense for me but i was able to keep up pretty well. Something to work towards i guess.

There was a great post on one of my favorite blogs today that made me think about you, SaraMonster! It was on how to integrate your yoga into your life on a daily basis. I really enjoyed reading it-- the author gave some great, very practical tips for making changes to your life to truly live your yoga.

Here's the link, in case you're interested reading it:

Glad to hear your practice is going well, and keep it up!  ;)b You'd be amazed at how much your practice will transform over just a few weeks. I've found that when return to a class that  kicked my a** the previous week, my body seems to have stored the last session in memory and progressed without any conscious effort on my part. I've found that usually it's my own doubts and reservations that prevent me from doing more difficult asanas... we're a lot stronger and more flexible than we'd have ourselves believe!

Went to yoga class again today. The teacher is allowing me to pay half price since I'm so poor, how very kind! On one I hand I feel like I should be saving the money, on the other I think the classes are helping me keep my sanity.
