Uhoh... HairCut Gone Wrong (NVR)

I got bored and cut off all my hair.
I've chopped it off myself a few times before and those were okay-ish but this time it didn't go well.
It's just hair, so I'm not dying but I do look like a freak now, and not in the "cool punky freak" way I wanted to look... more of the "someone attacked Meg Ryan with scissors" way.  ::)
I can't even attempt to fix it because I don't have a hand mirror and can't see the back.  ::)
Yeaaaah... *sigh*
Damn.

Awww, jealous! I said that I was going to chop my hair (practically down to my rear) after the wedding, but now I've been married for one year and I still have the long hair. I have a bit of surgery this month so it's a busy month, but next month is it! I want this or something even shorter. Seriously, can jenniferhughes or mdvegan come into DC and chop it all off for me??

If you cut off ten or more inches you can donate it to kids who have lost their hair due to a medical condition: http://www.locksoflove.org/donate.html

This is what I keep saying I'm goign to do, but I am never patient enough to let it grow.

This is a great cause.  I too grew my hair out for my wedding back in December 2004.  Only recently was I able to finally part with over 10 inches of hair!  My stylish just cut off my ponytail!  The salon then mails it off for you, all you have to do is grow out your hair.  Yay for short hair!  :)

Oh most definitely. I donated about 11 inches once to Locks for Love and have been growing it out ever since to do it again. But I met a woman the other day who said she's more into Wigs For Kids, so now I have to research which organization I want to support.

I think locks for love has a home kit so that you don't even need to go to a salon to do it
