Just for fun/curiosity. Three votes per person!

Bike, and both runs. I was going to choose elliptical over running outside, just because it's easier, but meh. I can't wait to run on a treadmill again. I'm just not pro enough to consistently do well running outside. Swimming would be another good choice!

I really hate running, I've tried to in the past and was even on a track team at one point, but I just don't seem to be built for it. But I do enjoy the Elliptical, Bike (stationery, outdoors), and Other (specify): hiking, walking, and hoping around to sparkpeople cardio videos. The treadmill is OK, but I tend to get bored easily.

Do you like working out to videos? I love Sparkpeople videos on Youtube, they have plenty of good workouts you can do at home with minimal equipment (resistance bands, mats, chairs, etc.).

I hear you. I barely have enough room to roll out my yoga mat to work out on. You could probably use a soft blanket instead, or nothing if you don't mind sitting on the floor.
I suggest the sparkpeople videos becuase you can easily vary how easy or difficult you want your workout to be, depending on your fitness level, and then gradually work up to harder stuff. I usually hate workout videos, but I hate these the least. Getting started can be tough becuase you feel like you need to aquire all this stuff in order to get started. It can be discouraging.

I was never much of a person who worked out regulary, however, that being said a few years ago I made a resolution to join and get more active...I started with Step aerobics and even though I hate working out I stuck with it and now I love my step class. I do this 2 days a week and I walk every sunday. I am up to about 10 miles. I also love pilates and do that every day. It has really helped that the DVD's I have discovered are totally legit! I am trying to spread the word about the Lotte Burke method. It seriously has changed my life. Has anyone ever heard of it?

I run first outside, but if I can't due to weather I'll use the treadmill.
Second would be hiking, but I haven't done that is SO long because there is nowhere to hike in Miami.
Third is spinning because it is intense!

I put running/jogging outside, even though I'm pretty crap at it, I enjoy it and want to do more. Also, walking/hiking, because it's awesome fun, especially some of the beautiful bush walks/hikes near where I live And 'other' for dancing, though I don't get to do much of that at the moment either : (

I have a treadmill which I use while watching videos, also I picked videos because I use a pilates video that is the best, it has beginner intermediate and advanced levels all on the same DVD which is great for me because sometimes I go thru a funky period and it's back to intermediate for me. Also picked hiking so that's three but I ride my bike everywhere since i'm not a driver. My desire is to run until i'm about to die outdoors, but i'm too scared to run alone so end up just running like a hamster on the treadmill.
Would love a elliptical machine instead of a treadmill. :spider:

Cardio and I don't get along. But when forced, I walk (the dogs), ellipticize, and do my workout dvds. Sometimes I'm envious of runners. But because of my "issue" (cholinergic urticaria), it makes most cardio very uncomfortable and sometimes impossible.

I have recently decided how super fantastic spinning iss and am really reall really loving it, so spinning is my number 1.
I also chose elliptical and other. For my other I have also just started a step aerobics class and am really liking that too. It's a fun work out and it makes me sweat!! I hardly ever sweat and so I assume the fact that the class makes me sweat is a good thing.
I've never been able to do much in the way of running - it just makes me out of breath more so than any other cardio. I'm certainly not that fit now, but I used to be super fit. At that time I could cycle 20 miles no problem, but ask me to run down the road and I would be soooo out of breath. Weird, huh?! I did try to get into running at the gym, but I just don't enjoy it as much as all the other cardio available, so I kind of gave up again.

Hey KMK is there a way to recast my vote, since you added more fun options?

Most nights I ride the stationary bike in the gym in my building - if it's in use, I'll use the elliptical as my knees really don't like running on a treadmill, or solid ground for that matter.
I also referee junior hockey for fun and extra exercise.

I like using the eliptical and exercise videos. It's too hot to exercise outside here in the summer but in the winter months I like to go out walking.
