Calorie Counts on the Recipes??

Hello everyone!!
I'm brand new to veganism and am totally committed to this! I am so ecstatic I found this terrific website that is so FULL of awesome dishes that are really easy (and FUN) to make! :)>>> My question, however, is that I'm a stringent calorie counter -- I've been doing this for awhile, tracking calories in vs. calories out to create a decent deficit each day so that I lose weight. Is there somewhere on this site that lists actual nutritional counts for these superb recipes? Thanks for any helpful replies and advice! ;)b
Hi and welcome!
On this site, no there isn't a calorie counter for the wonderful recipes. An option is to go to another online calorie counter and put in all the foods in the recipe and then divide it by serving size. Good luck!

OK. And thanks a bunch for the warm welcome! :)
A really good site for calorie tracking is Nutrition Data. Just google it, you'll find it. You can enter in the ingredients and quantities and it will add up the calories, fat and stuff etc. There's also some talk on this site about a Cron-o-meter.....but I found it cumbersome. Good luck and welcome!!
Oh wow! Thanks a lot for that!! ;)b
Awesome! Thank you, shea!! :D

I use the Cron-o-meter and yes, it can be cumbersome, but it can and is a really great, free tool if you are into Croning!!
Good luck!!

darn you capture I was going to suggest it!! :P
I've been away for quite a while so you don't know me but I'd like to throw in my opinion. Fitday is the best. You can input a recipe and figure out the calorie count. I had to input the values for things like nutritional yeast and wheat gluten but then I know how many calories are in the sauce I make with the yeast and the seitan I make with the gluten. There's an on-line version but last time I checked you couldn't input your own recipes for it so I use the stand alone version. I have it installed on a flashdrive/memory stick/whatever so I can update my days intake where I have access to a computer. www.fitday.com I have nothing to do professionally with fitday; I'm just a very satisfied user.
