Why in the world is there an ad for Petco on here? And another one for cheese pizza? So totally not vegan.

once, i was looking at a pamphlet from my orthodontist and it had a BILLION teeth pictures and i felt like i was going to vomit. blarrgh. make them leave!
you're only going to make it worse by talking about it! the ads have a feature that puts up ads when keywords pop up in our threads & subject lines. you might not have noticed but when there was that thread on how to help a nauseous pregnant friend, the add was a weird pic of a pregnant woman with a glowing baby in her belly. and awhile ago someone posted a thread about getting involved with her friend (another woman) and the ads were all about finding local married women in your area to hook up with...

Have any of you seen the one for fresh lobster?? That one really upsets and confuses me :( Sometimes a really good one does come up though--like the ones for vegi voyages--they actualy look really cool and I've clicked on them and gotten info from them!

yeah, i get ads for "veg voyages," veganessentials, and cosmo's shop, but inevitably the second ad is for the teeth thing. I'll keep my yellow teeth, thank you!
Some of it comes from Google...I don't know who's responsible for the picture ones. I once emailed Admin about the appearance of ads for very nonvegan articles of winter apparel and whatever she did, they disappeared.
I log in from Europe and we seem to get different ads. I think I'm glad, since choppers first thing in the morning is not something I want to contemplate. Or ever, come to that.
We at least don't get the ugly clothing ads like you get on Foundmagazine.com.

I have to say that I really do love those Toms shoes. They are super cute. I want them in every color. I do not, however, like that they cost $40. There is nothing to them!
yeah - i like the toms ads.. mainly cus tom is pretty cute and i don't mind lookin at him..
since i mostly vegweb from work, my ads are blocked. I'm glad too- I don't want to see those yellow crooked mouth things either.
