need help naming our puppy!!!
So we've been wanting to get a puppy for a long time, we've been in hour house for just over a year and it was one of the things i promised Dean when he got the house that i'd get us a puppy. We've been looking for a while and we FINALLY found someone with puppies that actually lives within 30 minutes of us! (the closest was like 3 hours away in Albany)
But we can't think of a name! We're picking her up on 6/16 once she's 8 weeks and has her vet check/1st shots/worming,, so it gives us just under 2 weeks to get ready. She's a purebred yellow lab female
So please can you give name suggestions for a girl??? also, Dean had a dog when he was a kid but i've never had a dog so if you wanna leave tips for raising a puppy, that'd be welcome too!!

i'm still really excited about the puppy!! but i didnt get any sleep last night because of all the excitement and unfortunately my vacation ended yesterday so i have to drag my sleepy ass thru work today lol... hopefully it'll be a slow day
i'm liking the name Abby but dean doesnt like it, and he wants to name her Athena now, which i'm still thinking about
oh yeah, i was gonna say i like the name Maizey too :)
I have no name suggestions. But just wanted to say, she is too too cute!
I enjoy it when people name their pets after their favorite foods. I would call this puppy Mango.

we're kind of at a standstill with names right now lol. the current owners are calling her Miley, we ruled out Athena, Dean doesn't wanna name her Abby (my idea) and I don't wanna name her Ginger (his idea)
for a while yesterday he thought Miley would be a good name to keep but i think he's going to change his mind because he caught me watching Hannah Montana last week LOL (hey sometimes i need some mindless comedy)
i mentioned Maizey last night and he's considering it
we went to Petsmart/Walmart/Target last night to check out prices for everything, and ended up getting Cesar Millan's "Mastering Leadership" 3 dvd set off amazon, hopefully that works!
also i'm so excited because i mentioned the puppy to my supervisor yesterday at work and she managed to get me the day AFTER we pick her up off so i'll get to spend the first day at home with my sweet baby puppy :)>>>
omg- miley? really? haha i can totally see a 6 yr old girl i know wanting to name her puppy that, but a grown man? everyones gonna completely think it's cus of miley cyrus. talk him out of it! maizeys close enough but way cuter and wont remind you of hannah montana!

lol we actually both like Miley as a name but he doesn't want to use it just because of the whole "Miley Cyrus is the first thing everyone will think of" thing
