need help naming our puppy!!!
So we've been wanting to get a puppy for a long time, we've been in hour house for just over a year and it was one of the things i promised Dean when he got the house that i'd get us a puppy. We've been looking for a while and we FINALLY found someone with puppies that actually lives within 30 minutes of us! (the closest was like 3 hours away in Albany)
But we can't think of a name! We're picking her up on 6/16 once she's 8 weeks and has her vet check/1st shots/worming,, so it gives us just under 2 weeks to get ready. She's a purebred yellow lab female
So please can you give name suggestions for a girl??? also, Dean had a dog when he was a kid but i've never had a dog so if you wanna leave tips for raising a puppy, that'd be welcome too!!

I enjoy it when people name their pets after their favorite foods. I would call this puppy Mango.

yeah, Dean wants to name her Ginger, cuz he had a dog as a kid named Ginger and this puppy just doesnt look like a Ginger to me...

Also, my in-laws just got a new puppy and my father-in-law insists on using the 'public park test' when it comes to pet names - if you wouldn't feel comfortable yelling it across a park when out with your dog, don't use it. Some names sound super cute/funny/sweet when you're at home playing with a little puppy, but when you're on the street/park/beach and have to say them out loud in front of strangers, well, sometimes you feel like a bit of a loser. Just a thought to keep in mind :)
