I miss...

I thought we could use a post like this. List the things, the people, the whatevers you miss. This could be as simple as saying "I miss my TV show..." or "I miss him/her/it..." I'll start.

I miss traveling. Last year I took two trips and I loved it. I loved going to the different airports, riding on the planes, and arriving at my destination. I always loved airports and their energy...even though last year I had to sleep on the concrete floor. Haha! So yeah, I miss traveling.

i miss being in highschool.
i miss not having responsibility.
i miss going to dance competitions.
i miss having my best friends around me all the time.
i miss being immature.

I miss when evenings did not include the internet
nor when having a cell phone was such an issue (I moved
again and misplaced the charger, so I have not used my phone
in days and thats crazy for some).

I am bound for living in a small shack in the woods.

I miss people. Well, sometimes. Ha. I mean, I'm a loner..sometimes by choice..sometimes not by choice. On occasion, I wish I could just have a conversation or take a trip with someone. I thrive mental stimulation and need it to survive. I know I sound like a pathetic fuck. I'll get over this.

you don't sound pathetic at all. thats how humans are. extroverts need more outside stimulation from people, places, etc. introverts need less. but everyone needs it.

I miss jumping in the car and going for a ride.
(Car is 22 yrs old; DH refuses to take it on the highway.)

I miss the mountains.
I miss the north of Spain.

And I really, really miss getting actual paper letters in envelopes, through the mail. Email is instant but not the same. Getting a real-time friendly letter is like being handed a present.

I totally agree with this one. I love giving/sending cards and/or letters and I love receiving them as well. :)
