Peanut Butter & Co. - help me help me help me choose!

I found this at a grocery store in town! I couldn't believe that they carry it because I've never seen it before - saw it at WF in Toronto, but not where I live.
Love peanut butter. Must buy some.
But... there were two varieties that they had - Cinnamon Raisin Swirl and White Chocolate Wonderful. I just couldn't decide. So I'm counting on you, vegweb friends, to help me choose. I could buy them both... but I want some advice anyways. Who's tried these before? Cinnamon Raisin or White Chocolate? Eenie, meenie, miney, mo...

i just bought the white chocolate kind from meijer (it was very shocking to find it there. like. super super shocking) and i have to agree it was just ok. it tastes like sweet peanut butter. i agree with propinecone about how it should have little white chocolate pieces in it. mmm that would be tasty. ;)b

That would be unbelievable. A rating of 23 out of 5!
But ya know, it's growing on me...
Personally I would rather not mess with peanut butter...it is lovely on its own! Although I do make my own peanut sauce all the time, so I guess I am guilty...but for some reason, making my own spicy peanut butter seems far less strange than buying one that is pre-spiced.
Hmmm. I'm sad to hear that people don't like the spicy peanut butter. But I guess that's good to know before I blow six bucks on it.
I make 95 percent of everything that goes into my mouth from scratch....sometimes it's just nice to open a jar and say "yum" without having to worry about what's in it.
We bought the Dark Chocolate and White Chocolate and I prefer the dark. It is also mostly gone so I must extrapolate that Angel thinks it is supreme as well. The white chocolate is ok but not 'Must have MORE' to me.
I did just pick up the cinnamon raisin and have been thrilled to be eating it on cin raisin bagels in the morning. So far I have not run across a whole raisin but its creamy, spicy from the cinnamon and sweetly nutty. Perfect in my book. I keep contemplating on making oatmeal raisin cookies with some of that PB.
On a Cali scale of 1-5 low to high:
Dark Chocolate Dream - 5
White Chocolate Wonderful - 3.5
Cinnamon Raisin - 4
Should we compile all these ratings? The official vegweb Peanut Butter & Co. review?
;D You better set aside like 3 hours to do so. ^-^
Today I opened my jar of cinnamon raisin peanut butter, so I have now officially tried all three of the sweet kinds of Peanut Butter & Co. All three are very yummy. Sadly, I'd have to put the white chocolate at the bottom of my preference list, just because it's mostly like sweet peanut butter, with only a hint of white chocolate/cocoa butter flavor. But it's pretty good too, just maybe not worth the exorbitant price...
i had the dark chocolate one this summer in oklahoma and it was AMAZING! i guess i am glad i didn't go w/ white choc.
ha. i got it at wal-mart for like $3, which is funny because one: i never go to wal-mart but chose to set aside my loathing of wal-mart in favor of veganism :whatever: and two: this is the ONLY place i have ever seen these PBs. maybe i am just so used to my own shopping routine and rarely look for products like this.
I've seen them at whole foods, but not consistently. I've only had the dark chocolate one, and it's pretty good. I hear similar things about the white chocolate - that it's basically sweet peanut butter. Too bad it's not a white chocolate swirl or something.
today i sampled some banana peanut butter and some cinnamon raisin pb.. they werent pb&co brand (but i do know that they make a cinnamon raisin flavor). the booth also had a chocolate chip cookie dough pb and a white chocolate raspberry pb - not vegan though :'(
so aside from this being a little off topic, and me not being able to remember the brand name i just wanted to let you know that there are other exciting flavors of pb out there! (although if i wanted pb and banana i would just eat pb and a banana, not pay 5 bucks for someone to pre-mix it for me)
Oh man! I knew-I just KNEW I should come exploring the food board while on raw--but I thought, no...it will be fine! So what is the first thing I zero in on? White chocolate PB!!! OMG *DROOL* how awesome is that? I need to try/pick some of that up soon...like as in the dayafter Rawilday ENDS! *lol*
Thanks for the tasty, tempting-ness!

don't torture yourself over it.. it's not as good as it sounds. just add a bunch of sugar to your regular pb and you'll pretty much get the same effect. i'll say it again - it needs chunks of white chocolate!! you hear me pb & co?? it needs chunks!! and until it has chunks i will keep trying to talk people out of wasting their money on it!!

I just got the Dark Chocolate Dreams flavor in a gift basket. It's really good. Are there any good recipes that this would work well in?
i would try using it in peanut butter cookies or truffles or something.
oo! or with strawberries! that would be an amazing pb samwich..
I'm not a big fan of white chocolate... soo... I'd love to try the dark!
