but is anyone passionate towards cliff bars as much as larabars?

Mmmm, i must go find these new luna barsss. I still havent seen any at the Publix i go to.
Cliff bars are really tasty, but I don't allow myself to eat them often because they cause me gas. I think it might be the soy in them.
those are my favorite munch on movie snacks
along with luna bars, of course.
dang, have i become addicted to clif bars over the last many months. sickly addicted. eat them almost every day addicted. i miss the peanut butter and pb-chocolate chip (removed since the recall, which seems like forever ago), but i love the maple nut a whole lot.
anyway, i, too, spied the white chocolate macadamia nut box, all nestled in the shelves at publix (they carry them for .99 each or you can get a box for about 5.89 or so), and i think my voice rose with delight as i read their flavor name aloud. alas, a reach in proved the box empty. dangit.
i'm on the lookout, hardcore. didn't even see a berry box. i've got sleuth work to do.
ps thanks for the wine link, too. could make an interesting gift for my bf, who got me started on the whole clif addiction.
white chocolate macadamia nut is just ok i think...almost too achingly sweet....the luna flavor of it is better than the clif
i think my favorite clif flavor would have to be the special iced pumpkin one...i wish it wasnt seasonal...and luna, omg i just tried the dark chocolate raspberry one, and i think i died and went to luna bar heaven, its even better than the chocolate caramel brownie one...

Heh Clif bars are pretty much all I eat on my break at work cause I can never get it together in the morning to pack a real lunch. They cost like a dollar where I live, but I am sorely disappointed that they stopped making the lemon poppyseed ones as they were my favorite =[

I was looking through my cupboard and foud a peanut butter cliff bar today.
Pretty sure it is one of the recalled ones. Not sure if I should brave it and eat it or just thow it out.
Expires 09/09 so still good.

with the cliff bar I do not eat them anymore
Will be giving it to the deer that stops by to visit me everyday.
She will enjoy it.

uzbekjoe, if it's a recalled bar, i don't think the deery should have it either... salmonella doesn't discriminate (usually).

I really like the clif and luna bars because they have non-chocolate flavors. I feel like if I'm going to eat chocolate, I want really good chocolate, not just frosting on a nutritional bar.
Anyway, my favorite flavors are chai tea, carrot cake, and oatmeal raisin cookie. Oh, and the gingerbread one, at holiday time.
I thought the Z bars were not vegan though? I haven't ever seen them in stores, but that's what I heard from a friend. Anyone know for sure?

i just saw dulce de leche luna bars today, the wrapper described it as caramel & vanilla - it sounds good, i'll pick one up soon..
