Foods good for an ulcer

Hey guys,
I have a friend who has been very sick for a couple days. She hasn't been able to keep any food down and has lost 7 pounds. She went to the doctor yesterday and found out she has an ulcer. I'm still a little skeptical, because I think there may be more going on. But anyway, does anyone have any cool ideas for really neutral foods she could eat (or I could make for her)? I thought about potatoes and bananas and stuff like that, but I thought maybe someone here would know of something a little more creative!
I'm assuming the doctor prescribed her an antibiotic for the ulcer, so she should eat some yogurt/"yogurt" to help her gut flora along :)
For this period until the treatment kicks in, plain boiled rice and broth. The broth has vitamins from the veggies and the rice may not be tasty but will not irritate her already upset innards.
I dunno if your friend will believe this or not.
Can she try taking Red Chilli powder in food/capsule s?

She found out in the office at that minute? At the very least, you need a blood test to test for ulcers, if not an endoscopy to check out the stomach and take biopsies. I'd be suspicious of this doctor.
they might have used that fancy-shmancy urea breath test to detect the H. pylori.
Get her aloe vera juice at the HFS. I've had ulcers four times, and that will cure it as fast as the prescription. She can drink it in juice if the flavor is weird. Everyday. She needs to make sure they tested for H Pylori, too. They can tell in the office, right away if you have an ulcer.
Thanks everyone ;)b
