I don't know of any other VWbers in Montana...but is anyone else (any place) having really bad Summer allergies? I've never really had any issues before (except for cats :(), but I've been sneezing/sniffling/having itchy eyes for a couple weeks now. It's not a cold; it feels like allergies. :hrmm:
My aunt lives in Florence (right outside of Missoula) and was just telling my mom how her allergies were nuts. Apparently there is some grass that's causing allergy problems for people there right now. My parents live in Billings and my mom has had some allergy issues lately, too.
Hope it all blows over soon! I've never had allergies, knock on wood, but they don't sound fun!
This has been a bad allergy year for people in Ontario too. Nothing like itchy eyes and itchy skin. Hope it improves for all us allergy sufferers soon!

My aunt lives in Florence, too! Thanks for that info...I'm glad there's a reason. :)
I live in Spain and the allergies have been hell here too. The papers speak of a new, "agressive" pollen. I wonder if GMOs etc have anything to do with it. we have few GMOs here but pollen travels on the wind for amazingly long distances.
Wow! I'm doing good now, but in April and May, I thought my sinuses were going to explode! (Not a pretty picture, sorry!) And I've never had allergies before. I figured that being exposed for so many years to GMOs and allergenes did the trick for me.
By the way things are going, I think the whole human population will be struck my spring allergies all year long!
my allergies have been bad since last year. i live up in NY state and everyone around me (including me) are having horrible allergies. a bunch of people at work yesterday were hoping it would rain cuz apparently that makes their allergies not so bad.
I've been battling seasonal allergies for a very long time. I am reluctant to call them "seasonal" because they seem to be all year round. I hoped that when I moved to my new location they would go (one of my colleagues who used to live on the East Coast said hers went away when she moved), but... no such luck. I really need an allergy test... :-\
Count me in as a neti pot fan. (OK, so it's technically a squeeze bottle rather than a neti pot, but... same difference.) When it's really bad I use it morning and night. The problem is I slack on it when I'm feeling better. I take meds when it's really bad--decongestant and pain killers, then I hide under the sheets and sleep it off. Also I notice a difference when I'm on top of my dusting and vacuuming game.
I was also hoping that cutting wayyyyy back on dairy would help, but no such luck (though there are other benefits 8))

MANY other benefits! ;)
That's scary about the GMO/allergen thing....I'm hoping that mine's just..grasses. They do mow here a lot...
I'm sorry you are all experiencing allergies as well!
Ughhhh. My eyes itch like crazy 24-7!
I used to be like that, but I tried homeopathy, and I don't suffer from that anymore!I've also tried Loratadine and it doesn´t make me sleepy at all. Good luck!
