You know, if these scammers just spent a little bit of time researching, they could do more convincing messages. Like, oh hey, it's a vegan recipe site. How about I pretend like I'm pre-vegan and I need their help? And *then* I'll let on that I'm the fake heiress of a fortune and need to escape my country, even though a simple google search will reveal there is no civil war in that country, or even royalty.

Since posting, it looks like at least two spammers took my advice - someone posted a couple of threads with a legit-sounding topic, only to have links to some hospital, and another one with links to a casino. Except those casino ones didn't even make sense.
