I get a little crazy when i get behind a car on the road that has the key whole cover thing on the trunck that you twist to put the key in and the darn thing is flipped open exposing the whole. I dont know why that bothers me but it makes me want to get out and flip it back in place.
Every time I walk by the mailbox I check to see if there's anything in it... even if I know the mailman hasn't come by.

I love this thread!! I keep reading through thinking, "I do that, and that, and that..."
I very seldom wear matching socks, if any at all. I hate doing laundry, so I basically fold any 2 socks together that I pick out of the basket and, voila!! A pair of socks! ;)b
I must have my coffee pot set the night before so I wake up to fresh brewed coffee. It's not such a wonderful morning otherwise.
Dishes have to either be put in the dishwasher or washed and put away. I hate dishes in the sink or on the counter.
The cushions on the couch have to be straightened when you get up. I hate a rumpled looking couch.
I REALLY hate when people throw recyclables in the garbage. >:(
If I'm going away, the house has to be cleaned. Not a fan of coming home to a messy house.
I should probably stop now, as I'm sounding pretty anal retentive!! :-[ Sadly, there are a whole bunch more!!

If I have a song stuck in my head, I have to walk in time with it......like Im playing it (band is taking over my brain)
I had one, but I've gotten over it in recent years: I used to check between my sheets every night for spiders before I could sleep. (Damn that stupid movie Arachnophobia! It wasn't funny to a kid!) ::)
I can't stand cracks in the curtains at night. They gotta be fully open or fully closed. I don't even mind windows open at night, but I can't bear the thought of people peeping in through cracks.

I can't stand cracks in the curtains at all! This is hysterical because I used to be terrified of the dark and needed a nightlight. Now, the darker the better. Of course, with all those "things" in the bedroom (DVD, satellite box, etc. etc.) I don't need a special little light. Some of them have clocks and timers, and DH is always setting something to record while we sleep so I can't unplug them...
I think someone has a weird obsession with bringing back old threads.
