A while back, I posted a serious poll on this subject.
Recently, as we approach the due date, people have started asking us about a name. When we tell them, "We have a few we like, but we're going to wait until we meet her to pick one," people apparently hear, "We have no idea. Please, suggest the most god-awful names you can."
I mean, sorry, "Kaiden" isn't a name. It's a renegade Mortal Combat character.
To cut them off at the pass, we've been issuing some ridiculous ones. These are our favorites... which one is yours? And do you have any more ridiculous suggestion we can offer up?

I went with Chuckette Norris for the sheer ZEITGEIST and all, but if "Magoo Kicksy" had been "Kicksy McGee" it would have got my vote.

Here's my suggestion: try to figure out names you can make from you and your wife's names or from grandparents names and where you met, etc. - like if you can come up with Fifi Transformer. That way it puts it into context upon questioning and they may buy it. Ha! They'll be thinking that they know that someone as crazy as ais would do that, buy why isn't his wife stepping in?

Of course, you could always use Belladonna as a part of the baby's story ("We decided on Belladonna since Belladonna was the inspiration and the reason for conception...").
