Brothers, too!
Theo is going to make us a beautiful doll, and we are going to send her all over the world!!! The doll (she?) is going to start in NZ, and travel from there. There will be a journal included, and probably a blog. Take pictures with her, travel around with her, eat lunch, you know..whatever. Make stuff for her!

You must be a KNOWN VW member to participate.
Maybe everyone that wants to participate can give their addresses to Theo and the list of addresses can be shipped with the doll - then the recipient can choose from the list who gets it next, so its a surprise? And we can add people as it goes if necessary, so no one gets left out....does that make any sense?

Or Theo (sorry for ditching this idea on you!) could arrange the addresses into the most economic order possible? I don't want to make people pay for international shipping if I participate in this...

EA, i'm sure if you stick around the doll will be around long enough for you to be "known", whatever that means (ummm... what are we going by? post count? time here? i think if this is going to be a rule we should have parameters... i think it's unfair to be subjective about it)

Yep. This is what I was saying in the other thread. I think that would be a good way to do it. If Theo doesn't want to compile the addresses, I can do that, and then give them to her to send out. The recipient could choose who to send to, and then mark that person off, and so on.

i have no idea. i know ppk does, but i don't really know if we have in the past.
Ok! So I have no idea about geography and where is close to where, particularly in the USA, so I'm going to bow out of being the one to make that list...I do like the idea of a list of addresses being shipped with the doll and the recipient can choose the next one, would probably mean it will go in economical order then but I don't want that to mean any internationals miss out because of extra cost!
AC offered to compile/collect the addresses so can I suggest that everyone sends their addresses to her and she can give the list to me? I will be far too busy making the doll :)

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about any clothes. I'm sure plenty of people might want to make something. If you wanted, you could do a small arm tattoo, or something? I dunno...that's up to you!

eta: I don't think the list has to go in order. I can definitely put them in geographical order, but I think everyone should be able to choose who they want to send to. I'm sure the non-US people will send to each other, and US to eachother (for ease), but other than that?

One?!! We need a billion. We also need detailed journal entries about what was done/added/etc. Yay!!!
Should it just be one journal entry for the whole trip? then lots of details on here or a blog?
