The surgery went very well.  Except for being very hoarse because the thyroid rests again the vocal cords and removing the thyroid, stressed the the vocal cords, I'm fine.  I haven't had to take any pain meds.  It really doesn't hurt but just itches.  I got out of the hospital about 5 pm Thursday.  We stopped at Jason's Deli for dinner and to avoid the worst of rush hours.  I took it real easy yesterday and today I started to feel the effects of no thyroid hormone.  I feel sluggish.  I see the endocrinologist on the 12th for my thyroid replacement hormone prescription. 

All in all, I'm good! :D
