Halloween Gift Exchange

I think it would be fun to do another gift exchange. I was thinking around Halloween--back-to-school is over, and the holiday season hasn't cranked up yet. It wouldn't necessarily have to be halloween themed, though. Anyone interested? You'd have to be comfortable with sending me your address. I don't have enough money to be a creepy stalker, though, so no worries.
I know what you mean Corrinas! I have so many cookbooks too. But homemade goodies are fun. Im in such a crafty mode though, it could be clouding my judgment. hahah
It might be a good idea to list what books we have? I hope my person lists his/her books...
I have:
Being Vegan
China Study
Why Animals Matter
Vegan Sourcebook
Vegan Living
Vegan with a vengeance
Veganomicon
Vegan Brunch
Vegan table
Joy of vegan baking
Vegan soul kitchen
Vegan planet
Radiant health inner wealth
Vegan cupcakes take over the world
I also have the cookie book, vegan yumyum, and American vegan kitchen on order.
My books:

Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World

Are clothing sizes (like medium, small, etc) different outside of the US? Like would a medium here be a large somewhere else?

Yes, at least in European sizes. So, if I was a M in France, say, I'd be a small here.
I feel like a failure for the amount of books i have:
Vegetables rock
The garden of vegan
Skinny bitch
Skinny bitch in the kitch.
The end.
Vegetables rock
That's funny!

If you have an international person go here:

i have no books =-)
Ohh, i will add. I dont have many books, because i HATE following recipes. Unless its baking, then i do.
Measuring things is far too much work for cooking.

You don't have to use the measurements! I very, very rarely measure when I'm cooking, but recipes are great to see different combinations/methods!
I have waaaaay too many books. Honest. About the only one I could conceivably want is the cookie book and I dunno when its coming out even. The last cookbooks I bought were Artful Something Vegan (Millennium book) and Vegan Brunch.
Im more into crafts, baked goods and vegan propaganda!
I don't have a rolling pin or cookie cutters..... *le hint*
Woo I too have someone I've never talked to before! I'm verrry excited. The should uh.. answer that questionnaire.. hint hint..
I went shopping for my person.
What I got for myself:
- an ice cube tray that makes ice shot glasses
- five packs (10 each) of decorative wide-mouth canning jar lids and rings
- a glass serving bowl
- short stem margarita glasses
- iron-on picture transfer paper
- a stainless steel three-tiered lunch pail
What I got for my person:
- 2 very small items
- 2 (3 if you squint & tilt your head) items for making something for my person
Yeah. All gift giving goes about like that for me, because I usually don't browse so I'm not used to resisting temptation.
Question....Are we waiting to send gifts until OCT 17th or can we just send em out when they are ready?
I think we can send them out whenever. I'm sending mine out as soon as it's ready.
I just gave a long time so those of us w/ no money can get it together, baby. Plus it'll be closer to Halloween...
To whoever has me....I will be out of the country until 9/28 so please don't send early if you're making homemade goodies...I'd be scared to open the box when I came home.
I'm looking forward it!
Dear my person,
You will be receiving 2 separate gifts. The first one might look weird, and it's coming directly from shipper (not from me). I hope it arrives ok. If you receive a box, and you have no idea who it's from, that's your first gift (unless you are expecting some other gifts from people you don't know..). The other will be coming later, from me. I hope you don't have any problems with early arrival, because your first gift should be there in a few days.
-your person
p.s. I guess you'll know that it's me halfway into your gift receiving, but oh well.
