Body Fluids--subject to vegan scrutiny--yes or no?

Should human body fluids be identified as vegan or not?

Example--vegan woman ingests the semen of an omni man. How is said semen classified--is this a vegan taboo? Is the semen not-vegan or is it perceived  differently then other products that may or may not contain animal proteins.

Are omin body fluids the same as say a cheeseburger? Yes or no and why? If there is any known credible research--post that too!

Discuss (nicely please!)

so you're anti-Oprah?

For those of us who want to discuss Oprah:

I don't understand why you think this thread is OK and you are having a ball posting in it, but the spin off from this thread was demoralizing?

Pick an agenda, and stick with it, Oprah

I'd hate for you to be unable/willing to have the FULL experience if you should ever visit Sweden/France and other countries who enjoy this delicacy.... In fact, I feel sorry for you.

Excellently played!

For my part--I have decided that next time around...I'm just going to not date an omni again--saves me from having to play or participate in "lets pick apart the vegan" game. Then any questions of fluids will be null.

Done.

Hanashi--OMG! Those pics are crazy!

Dalida--Just answer the freaking question and stop dragging out drama--it's getting pretty lame.

Aw, well don't rule it out entirely.  You got a bad apple.  Lots of omni's are not like that.  Being a douche has nothing to do with being omni--it has to do with being a douche.

I mean, as vegans. we shouldn't be surprised that people eat or drink human body fluids.  They eat and drink animal body fluids daily.  In fact, eating and drinking human fluids is probably less bizarre, by some measures.  *shrugs*

ETA Dear Dalida,

Just to clarify my Oprah statement:

In other threads I have mentioned that Oprah is a flip flopper. One minute she is trying out a vegan/healthy diet and supporting the rights of animals. The next she is giving out KFC coupons (not vegan, not healthy even if you think chicken is healthy).

I am not really anti-Oprah but I would be more respectful of her if she would pick an agenda and stick with it. The things she supports are inconsistent, which bothers me.
I can say the same about you.

If I had called you "Ellen" or "Sally Jesse-Raphael" would you assume that I am racist against white women? I don't get your inference.

Because Oprah is a black woman, does that mean if we don't particularly like her that we are somehow racist or anti-successful black woman? I think not. It sounds to me like you might like her just because she is black and successful, which seems prejudiced to me (liking someone based on skin color and gender).

I referred to YOU as Oprah, because I think you are being inconsistent-you got a thread closed because it was "demoralizing" and yet you continue to post in this very similar thread.

I did not call you Oprah because I think you are a successful black woman. Although if you are, that is irrelevant to me.

Can you please explain?
Or admit your inconsistencies?

P. S.  I am in love with Queen Latifah (successful black woman).

I also feel very, very sorry for her significant other. He is going to have to live his life with a person who is not truly able to experience certain things. I feel so very sad for him.  :(
