I am starting to get weary of this flouridated crap that tastes like a chemical slurry. Do you guys know of any good ones that are natural or anything?

Powersmile by JASON is my favorite - of all of the natural toothpastes I've tried, it is by far the best. A little bit more expensive, but totally worth it. I get it at Whole Foods.

I used Toms of Maine fluoride free peppermint. I like it because you can get it pretty much anywhere, and its super minty but not sugary and gross.

There's also always baking soda and salt. That's what I used when I was younger.

ughhhh really? u don't have a nasty taste in ur mouth?
i think toothpaste tastes nasty. plus, would assume it only covers up anything that s "nasty"... using water is nice, you get used to it. what really does the work s the saliva you work up while you are brushing, not the paste.
you can also use baking soda if you want to forgo toothpaste but don't like just water.

Weleda Salt toothpaste is awesome. It doesn't foam up, but it leaves a fresh feeling in your mouth. Does take some getting used to, but now its all I use! Or Spry.

I've started getting the Trader Joe's brand, ($1.99)!!!!! But check the label 1 of their brands has flouride/sulfates and the other doesn't (the purple one is the good one)
FYI- their Tea Tree Tingle shampoo and conditoner don't contain sufates/or parabens and are $3.99 a piece.
These products may not be the absolute best/greenest but on a budget they are defintely better than traditional brands
(they are all certified cruelty-free as well!) Go TJ's!

Like hesp, I use plain water or sometimes baking soda or, if I have it, Dessert Essence Tea Tree Oil Toothpaste with Mint.

Its actually really good! Although mint would probably still be better.
