I am pleased to read that people are reacquainting themselves with cycling.
My mother whom is going to be 60, bought a beach cruiser and rides to work! Go MOM!

Ha! We have almost the same bike! I have a Specialized Allez Triple. Same coloring and everything. I haven't taken any photos yet though. I am pretty happy with it so far.
I will post a pic of a few of my bikes as soon as I find my camera.
Right now I am riding a vintage Raleigh 10 speed a real work out bike here in the PA mountains.

yeah, it's basically the girls version of the allez (the dolce). i am not a huge fan, but that's the one i got from bike and build and rode cross country.

What dont you like about it?
I have a 15 yr old TREK that I love, it needs new tires at the moment and is residing at my folks for the winter. Right before Christmas I found a perfect bike for my autistic 4 year old, he is a big boy and needs a "big kid" bike but with sturdy trainer wheels. 7 bucks from goodwill and it is in the basement awaiting a tune up soon.

I'm so sad! I got my Big Blue out of storage today and both tires need air! :( hopefuly I'll get that taken care of soon enough so I can get my ride on soon!!! Woot! The weather is verging on perfect cycling-temps--not too warm, not too chilly--just riiiiight!

i just feel like it's cheaply made/cheap parts.
I don't ride a bike...I ride a unicycle! Kris Holm 20" Trials uni, quite old now but does the trick.

My bike is just some crappo (sorry, redrum!) bike from like Costco, or something. I got him for free, though, and I've ridden ..it just about every day for a year, with no problems. The frame is motiv, or something, and he's a mountain bike. :)>>> Redrum.

I haven't done a lot of Mountain unicyling (muni) but back in the day I was pretty into trials, which is kind of like skateboard tricks in urban areas but on a unicycle. Awesome fun, even though I was never fantastic! I haven't ridden in quite a while actually, so very out of practise but pretty keen to get back into it soon :)

Nope! After a few goes holding on to a wall it took me a day or so to learn a basic free mount and to ride around after that. From there you just get better with practise! Do it!
I found some on craigslist. I'll see if they're close by. It sounds like it would be fun!! I could take it to the skatepark one day!!
