Nifty thank you for the troops - neither pro nor anti war, just for the soldiers

What a lovely gesture to make for someone serving our country abroad – Xerox has just impressed me so much. Take a minute to send out a free, personalized thank you to one of our soldiers.
Thanks for the link! I sent the card with the plane flying over the National Mall. A very nice service indeed.
i sent one too!
Awww, I love this idea!
Duckalucky, I also like your totally PC thread title. Way to keep it neutral. :)
if anyone has anyone specific (it may be only marines) they want to send mail to, my mom just told me about a site (www.motomail.us) in which you can type a letter and they will download and send it so they can get real mail (or if they have little access to computers). i will be using it for my deployed brother.
Great link!!! I sent one & then emailed the link on to all my friends. Thanks for sharing! :)
Thank you for the links.
It is so easy to get so caught up in political causes, that we can forget who is affected the most by them. This thread is a nice reminder to everyone of how easily that can happen. :-)

Thanks, guys. My husband was a Marine during the first Iraq conflict and although it wasn't quite the donnybrook this one is, politically speaking, I mean, domestically politically speaking, it was awfully stressful knowing what a conflict we were sitting upon. Personally, we abhor this conflict, but we know what those folks are going through. It's nice to send them something that might bring them a smile and the secure knowledge that random strangers wish them well, I think.
It feels really good that my office sends out care packages twice a month with treats, letters of support, and little bits of cheer... I think only one of us has ever met the lieutenant to whose platoon we send them, but if these people are not going to be allowed to come home soon... we'll send a little home to them.
I am particularly pleased by the wide variety of messages they allow you to select from... and especially that you can add your own if you prefer. People who want to say "bless you" can. People who want to say "attaboy, get 'em" can. People who want to say "while I hate this war, I am proud of YOU" can. People who want to say a simple "thank you" can. That's neat!
I love it when a corporation does something more intimate than just printing ribbon magnets. ::)
