new vegan finds!

i'd like to start a thread of new things you happen across or discover that are vegan. i browse around in the grocery store quite a bit, reading labels, and sometimes find some pretty interesting and surprising vegan foods!
so anyway, one i found this weekend is....banana babies! they're from diana's bananas and the dark chocolate ones are vegan. they're just frozen bananas dipped in chocolate, but..mmmm. the chocolate is a tiny bit waxy, but all in all, i thought it was a pretty good find.
also, many of marie calendar's fruit pies are vegan as well, which is awesome for a yummy, fatty dessert when i don't feel like making one, haha...
anyone else been finding something cool and yummy?

Also, those rectangular wafer cookies in chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry are often vegan, I find.

the ones with the cream. its all like..oils and stuff. like the middle of oreos. creepy? yes. delicious? mhmmm.
Yup, it's like Ponycakes says. It's like Oreo's.
I don't know how all 7-Eleven's are, but the two around Temple each have a refrigerated section of VEGAN stuff--sandwiches, spring rolls, a couple other things. Nothing high class, but it's kind of nice/surprising to see a specifically vegan section of food in a convenience store. I bought the un-turkey sandwich to have something besides salad at the dining hall and it was decent. :)
Does anyone know if the appetizer breads they give you at Cheesecake Factory are vegan? I would think they have butter in them but you never know
And SWEDISH FISH?! As in my favorite candy ever?! But isn't the red food dye from beetles, or something? Please say no *crosses fingers*
i was at Albertsons a couple months ago and for some reason ( i have no idea why) i picked up a box of their crossaints from the fresh baery part and they were vegan! just fyi..
So are those Lorna Doone's any good?
I mean, yeah, Lorna Doones are decent. Not something I really would eat a lot, but ya know, nice to know they're there.
Whatever happened to that Nabsico assorted cookie box?? It had Lorna Doones, and some Wafer Cookies, and some sort of flower shaped cookie, and a couple Oreos that were always the last in the box. I haven't seen it since I was a kid. SAD!
I've never had "regular" Lorna Doone's before, just the 100 calorie pack thingies...but i think they're pretty good. They're a really good tea-dunking cookie.

It was a white box wrapped in pink paper that you had to tear off like it was a present. Where did it goooo?

I don't. BUT, you know those "butter cookies" that come in those tins? They have the different shapes...but they all taste the same-..(like butter cookies in a tin). What if we found out those are vegan? That'd be pretty ridiculous and gross.

Oreos are also gross. The vanillas are ok... not as good as vanilla joejoes
iirc... some of those "dutch cookie" tins are vegan.
i only eat lorna doones when i fly.. they serve them on jetblue :).. jetblue is awesome.. they have like at least 3 of their snack that are vegan.. the lorna doones, the awesome purple potato chips and cashews.. mix in a little hot tea, some juice, and maybe a little bottle of vodka and im set to go across country ;)

i actually found a vegan wostershire sauce for the first time EVER at food fair of all places (not my usual store) but for some stupid reason i didn't buy it. oh well, at least i know it's there if i desperately need it for some random recipe.

The red dye probably depends on what country you are in. I read recently that red M&M's in the US are red # something, but in the UK they are the cochineal (the beetle coloring). Swedish Fish in the US are vegan, I was just reading the label a few weeks ago because someone gave them to my kids. Full of nasty stuff, but vegan.

I found a vegan worcestershire sauce at my HFS in the last couple years and I adore it-- can't remember the brand, but it has a wizard on it. It is really really tasty-- even just on greens or cooked vegetables.
