i take perfect care of myself. (protein and calcium intake.)
and my mom obsesses over me so much that she can't sleep at night.
always worrying about me.
i have perfect iron levels and i'm healthy.
well she finally stopped. i've convinced her that i'm ok.
..but every once in a while she tells me i'm too thin.
that needs to stop. i've aware of that, beleive me. haha.
Be glad that your mom does worry about you, it means that she loves you. But I wish that I had your problem about being too thin. But when I was 20 I weight about 50lbs less than I do now, and I was also too thin. But age has a way of catching up now I am overweight. Tell your mom that you are young and you are going to enjoy being thin while you can! ;D
I love these new smilies. There still isn't one for delicious though. We need one for that.
and i'm not one of those "bony, i only eat a piece of bread everyday girls"
oh no, i eat like a fatty.
but a vegan fatty. ;D
haha. i dunno. :pig: yeah, these smileys are great

yes, and about the weight, HA --> it will catch up to you. you're young and bodies are just weird sometimes. as long as you're eating well and being healthy, you're body will "settle" into a size that is good for it.
Comments like these (which I seem to be hearing more and more lately) scare the f*** out of me! :o holy crap, holy crap, holy crap!
yeah, it does.
but that's all part of getting older. it's natural. like wrinkles and saggy boobs. ;D
its normal.

same here! AAAAHH! :waa:
breathe, just breathe. now, eat a cupcake. it's all ok...

chill out guys.
think about all the older people you know, they're beautiful, right?
My mom is a piece...she's hotter than me, I'm not worried about anything
always worrying about me.
Just get used to it. :winktongue: I'm in my early 30's and my mom does the same thing. I still have to call her whenever I travel to say I arrived or she gets really worried.
Mine's the same (on long journeys anyway) and I'm 52!
always worrying about me.

Yeah that's why the doctor cuts the umbilical cord...so many mothers act like it's still attached! ;D
As far as getting older goes, I like that quote from "Norma Rae"--"I was good at 17, since then things have kinda slipped and slid." Or as a friend of mine says: I have everything I always did, just a little lower down!
Hey chickpea - my mom constantly pushes supplements, but she does that for my omni siblings too, so I don't take it personally. We joke that according to her, a daily B vitamin will make you prettier, smarter, faster, better with computers and solve world peace!
Anyway, the way I got her to cool down is two things: first, I tell her whenever I donate blood so she can see how healthy I am. Second, I gave her a link to my Fitday site. It's an online calorie counter thing that tracks what you eat and gives you reports on your weight and rda nutrition over weeks and months. That calms her down a lot.
As for aging - I figure it's half health, half genes. Which means CeltKat is going to be HOT in 40 years! :D
i'm gonna be sexy. ;)
wooo hoooo.
