A pregnant friend of mine was admitted in the hospital yesterday because of her high pressure. Because there's a risk of preeclampsia, she's on a diet without salt. I really don't know much about it. She wanted to try out some cupcakes that I've made, I was wondering if it was okay. Of course, I could have ask the nurse there, but why would I do that when there are so many knowledgeable vegwebers!
Most dessert recipes aren't to heavily laden with salt so it should be fine. However just to be safe I'd bring the recipe(s) along with you to show to her doctor as a safety precaution.
You're right. I will do that. Thanks!
