I'm going to be on TV tomorrow!

What a cool week I'm having! As a part of my new job, I get to do a monthly 2 1/2 to 3 minute segment about the museum on one of our local news stations!!
I am now officially "the face" of the museum and tomorrow night at 5:15pm I have my first TV appearance.
I realize I'm a total dork but, wow, I'm going to be on the 5:00 news . . . . regularly . . . . and for a good reason!!
Fabulous!! That is so exciting! And they couldn't have chosen a more perfect face to be their...face. Good luck, and you're going to do great, I just know it. ;)b

It should actually be a funny segment because the producer told me that it's essentially 'show and tell' about what's happening at the museum. So, my friend "Freddy the Frog" (a brightly colored stuffed animal with super long arms and legs that velcro around me) is going with me to announce that the Zoo is coming to the museum on Saturday with a surprise animal (it's such a surprise that even I don't know yet and I'm coordinating it)!
I'll tell you one thing - I'm definitely learning to take myself much less seriously - lol!
It's great that things are working out so well, and you're getting sleep now, too!

So, I survived my first TV experience and it wasn't that bad! Of course, I managed to fumble "Barnum & Baileys" 4 times, but oh well!! I was trying to say that our Circus Camp is led by 3 clowns who were trained at Barnum & Baileys Circus College and I said it incorrectly ALL 4 times . . . oops!
However, I think I did okay otherwise - at least that's what my parents said ;) It was much less nerve wracking than I thought it would be . . . I just kept looking at the newscaster who was asking the questions!
I've got to email the station tomorrow to see if they can send me a link to the video, unfortunately all they have up on the website is written text :( Evidently they think I need a bit more practice before I make it onto the website - lol!
Once I get the link, I'll definitely post it for all to laugh, I mean to see :D
