I always think it's funny when people don't want to advance to the next age, like 30, 40, etc. I don't think it will bother me. I'm looking forward to being an eighty year old lady with curly blue hair & stating whatever is on my mind. I think it will be fun.
I feel the same way, LOL! Only I always figured myself to be the crazy "cat lady" sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair with a corn cob pipe and polishing my shotgun. ;)

I had a hard time with 30 & 40 but I have (finally) realized that you can't fight time. It marches on no matter how much you try to slow it down....or stop it completely. In 37 months, I will be 50 years old & I am soooo looking forward to it. :)

I as well as another poster am excited to get old and have white hair. I plan on saving all of my barrettes from my younger years, you know, the really colorful plastic ones. They would just look so awesome with white hair, don't ya think!?

I found my first unmistakably gray hair a few nights ago. I feel old....which makes me wonder what I'll think at age 30...

oh, ok. you would think it would just be blank in that case. for some reason i thought everyone has some common birthday as a joke (i don't know what birthday it would have been... jesus' ::)) :-[

I was with a friend the other day who is 46 and we got asked if we were mother and daughter. I think she was devastated. :-\
Most people can't believe I am this "old" so I just take whatever age they guess me as. Anything from 17 to 29 I think. Sometimes I really have to think how old I am.....I forget!
I don't really like getting older, but I often see hip old ladies and hope that I will be like that someday. 8)

That happened a month ago, and it's gotten me more confused than ever.
When someone asks how old I am, I really have to think: 26? 27? or 28? which am I now again??
Luckily, being born in 1980 makes it easy to calculate!
