Holiday Happiness and/or Horror!
As we kick off the holiday season, I thought it would be fun to share stories with each other. These stories should revolve around the holidays such as Thanksgiving, Capitalism Giving Day, Christmas, Kwanza or whatever else you celebrate.
These stories could be "I went shopping and I saw the wackiest customer who..." or "every year we would.." or "I remember one year I..". I'll start.
Last Christmas, I told my sister that I was going to get her coal to replace her gift. She didn't believe me. So, I bought two gift bags for her. One had nothing but coal (charcoal) in the bag and the other bag had coal with two blu-ray discs buried underneath. Needless to say, she was pissed.
This year she says she'll get me back but I've told her one of my many duties as being her older brother is that I'm always 2 or 3 steps ahead and that she won't get me. :)
Good memories.
Nice one. Had she been bad?
Capitalism Giving Day and Christmas aren't the same thing?
I've got a few stories....
-I don't really celebrate one holiday in particular and I usually hate Christmas movies but every single year I watch The Christmas Story marathon (the one that plays the movie for 24 hours) and I watch almost the entire 24 hours. I also watch Jingle All The Way every single year.
-I got coal for Christmas one year when I was younger but it was gum made to look like coal. I chewed it and it turned my teeth black.
I'll come back to this when I remember more.
I punched my friend and kicked him out of my house for no reason
My sister disappeared with a friend of mine, so we grabbed a flashlight and video camera and went on a manhunt down the street which lead us to a car parked down the street with steamy windows.
One Thanksgiving, we put on oversized white tshirts and proceeded to have a 'wine fight' which resulted in every inch of my house being covered in red wine.
One Xmas, I hooked up with a friend of mine who said he broke up with his girlfriend, when apparently he hadn't. She came over looking for him (they had both been there the night before), and a confrontation ensued.
I have so many more.
Oh sb... your stories make me happy and your life makes me jealous.
sb, those are amazing stories!
I don't think I have any. My life is boring (ok it's not I just can't think of holiday stories)
