What's everyone's favorite item of clothing?

Mine's a ratty old Houston Oilers t-shirt from 1982. I found it in the lost and found at a camp I used to work at, like, eight years ago.

And my running shoes.

I live in tank tops, even in winter, LOL! I also love my dad's old sweater. It makes me feel like he's still with me when I wear it.

I have a green sweatshirt that my friend who passed away gave me. She drew a little alien on one of the pockets. It's also got a paint stain on it from when she used to paint in it. It's my favorite.

I love to wear a set of flannel gnome jammies that my best friend gave me.  She bought them right before she got pregnant and then grew out of them, so she bought a new set.

I ended up getting the original pair - she's like my sister (I'm an only child) and I always feel so connected to her when I wear them.

A 1999 UNC lacrosse shirt that is my favorite workout shirt.  Every time I workout I wear the shirt.  Even though I have grown a lot since buying it nine years ago it still fits me very well as if the shirt was manufactured exclusively for me.  Unfortunately, the shirt is starting to develop numerous large holes.  So many that I have begun to find a replacement, but so far to no avail.

my sundresses.  someone donated a huge bag of clothes from the 90s to me when they found out that i sew, and they had two sundresses in there, way too big for me, but perfect for lounging around.  ahhh.  so comfy.  so breezy!!! haha

In cold weather, sweats or men's cotton ski pajamas that are cut big enough to be too big on me! I love loose clothing!

In summer, I am mourning the passing of a particular black skirt that I lived in for years...it was ankle length and cut loose, with a seam just below the hip. It was not improved by dousing it liberally with White Out and having to have it drycleaned. *whine* I haven't found anything to equal it for comfort plus style...it never wrinkled.

My favorite articles of clothing are some old blue puma soccer shorts and a 1981 summer of Missoula shirt that my mom had and gave me (which is actually where I live now!). My best girl friend gave me the shorts years ago...and I have loved them. I've searched and searched for the same shorts (new stores, online stores, ebay..), but they are not to be found. They are not the tight elastic...just loose and comfy. They had holes along the seam in the back at some point in their life with me..that I sewed (or my mom), but a hole is back..I dunno if I'll sew it again...I can still where them around the apt...

I also love my sweatpants, and other comfy pj pants..

I IMMEDIATELY change into comfy clothes (my "weasiepea suit" in our world..) once I get home from anything where I have to wear normal clothes..

Any super lightweight v-neck tee.  I HATE wearing shirts and don't whenever possible, so when I have to I like the can-hardly-feel-it type.

Haha.  I HATE wearing pants and also don't whenever possible!  My roommates are both gone, and I love it because I walk around the apartment in no pants.  I WOULD wear skirts all the time and forgo pants entirely, except I really don't like walking long distances in anything but sneakers.  And I am not a fan of the sneakers-with-skirts combo myself.

So, for favorite article of clothing, I'd have to say anything not-pants.  And this blue top that my best friend helped me pick out to wear on my birthday.

That's very interesting! At some point did you just get used to not wearing shirts? You just hate the way they feel? I would feel weird not wearing a shirt....in the beginning......it took me some time to get to where I didn't want to wear a shirt in bed.

LOVE Dropkick Murphys. I'm sure if I had a t-shirt, I would wear it often as well!

I live in sunny, hot SoCal without air conditioning.  My comfort level is greatly increased sans a shirt.  Even a tank top will make me sweat, but shirtless I stay cool(er).

I'm with you H_H.  When I lived in Miami with no air conditioning, I learned the benefits of topless living  (in the house, of course  ;))

Thanks!  It is from a concert/festival thing a couple weeks ago.  Concerts are amazing fun.
