Cocoa Butter Moisturizer?

Can you use it as a moisturizer like on the face? I know it's good for stretch marks and tattoos and basically everything, but would it be ok to use as a facial moisturizer or would it seriously clog my pores?

Right now i use some regular ol' moisturizer that probly isn't vegan and that bothers me. I really just want an all natural moisturizer thats not full of chemicals and other junk.

I don't know about cocoa butter but I use coconut oil, it works awesomely and lasts forever because you use so little at a time.

I haven't had much success using cocoa butter on my skin, as it really seems too thick to timely be absorbed. I am going to agree with Theo on using coconut oil though as it soaks in quickly and goes along way. It also works really well for pulling other oils and nutrients into your skin. It also works wonders on protecting your hair and cutting down or in my case eliminating conditioner - especially if you have textured hair like me. Coconut butter will work on your hair, but it will take many rinses with shampoo to get it all out. Personally I would not do that unless you are also doing henna.

They don't have to be new to put it on! I put it on every day. It helps keep them bright and pretty.
