Clothes that I don't hate myself for wearing

I have been looking for environmental friendly clothes for along time but have not been able to find any, More specifically clothes made out of hemp. Needless to say organic, non-sweatshop and vegan. Most of the clothes i have are second hand except underwear and socks.I Really need new shoes.  the abusters footwear is all i have been able to find in footwear and would like to comparison shop.  I live in a small city of about 18 000 yes apparently that is a city. The only pace to shop for clothes here is the salvation army(or wal-mart but i like my were i live and do not feel the need to destroy it by shopping there). If you out there in the "global village" know of some good websites it would be much appreciated. I have found a couple but nothing that doesn't have a ton of other crap. Not that I'm lazy, i would just like to find a site. that I don't have to spend more time navigating thought, then actually looking at products i want to spend my slave wage on to find what i want.

Thanks ahead of time for any help Cheers

http://www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk/  If you don't mind shipping from UK. My ex-boyfriend has ordered all his non-leather docs from there and they've come in pretty fast, and they're very friendly and helpful too.

http://www.mooshoes.com/  is based in the states if you want it shipped in nationally.. i haven't had any experience there though.

Also, check out http://www.veganfashionblog.com/  Not everything from there is organic, or hemp, but there are some nice finds, and it's categorized too.

Also shopping second hand is very environmentally friendly. Once in a while you'll find something nice at the Salvation Army, but at least the stuff you get there doesn't become landfill filler.

I hear you on the problem of not finding sustainable clothes (socially, ethically, environmentally, etc.). Most of my clothes are second hand as well. I was on a shoe search similar to yours about a year ago when I ran across the barefoot movement. Now I go either barefoot or in my old-and-worn flip flops, though I have a pair of Keds I use when it's freezing/snowing outside, when the place I'm at requires closed-toed shoes, or when I go running where I can't go running barefoot.
Actually, I also have a pair of winter boots that I bought at a chain store because it had the label "all man made material." Probably all plastic, but I wasn't as eco-conscious at the time.

I like to look at veganessentials.com because there are so many things in one place. Where in SK are you from? That is where I grew up too. I am glad I went vegan out here (Vancouver), cause there are many more options as far as everything goes. It's good you have the net though, if you are able and willing to get it on the web, there is lots out there. P.S I really like my adbusters, very comfy, they do fit on the slim side, though fyi.

For a Canadian store, there's Rawganique located in British Columbia (http://www.rawganique.com/).

I seem to remember they have pretty reasonable shipping charges.
