How come hot chai tastes wonderful, and iced chai (same recipe) is just kinda "meh"? Why do you get all the bitter without all the taste from the spices?
One more: how can nothing be wrong with my knee, yet is still hurts like whoah?
Courth, did you have an MRI? I am having one next week for my knee and have a feeling they won't find a thing. The surgeon thinks it is my medial meniscus. Mine goes through days of no pain and then days of real pain. X-rays showed no arthritis.
Hope your knee feels better soon. Knee pain can so limit what you do. Some days I don't even want to walk Cali. Going up and down stairs is horrendous, then other days...nothing.
For the curious, it's my right knee that hurts. I hurts pretty much always. It hurts on the inside, close to my patella. Sometimes it feels like there's rice krispies in there. I've had an Xray, and a physical exam, and my doc said it's nothing. Take Advil.

That kind of sounds like my leg problems...
I get the same kind of thing as you from doctors Courth, i've been to so many and none of them know. Some think they do, like one place said i had flat feet because my dad did, i dont though.... So i had to wear this horrible shoe things that made everything worse for a year so i stopped wearing them. Or people said growing pains. Or because how i sit.... List just keeps going.
it's amazing how much doctors don't know. it's also amazing that they refuse to admit when they don't know. instead they'd rather make you feel like it's in your head.
i've had doctors tell me that my breathing problems were "in my head". excuse me? i've been breathing for twenty three years. i think i know when i can and cannot breath right. i FINALLY met a doctor who was familiar with my type of asthma. my brother's asthma is the common kind that causes constriction and albuteral will work for that. but mine is inflamation so the only fix is steroids. albuteral does nothing for me. when i found this doctor i wanted to go to every single doctor that made me cry for being "crazy" and smash the diagnosis paper in their face.
i have a lot of respect for my family doctor. she knows that there are areas that she doesn't know much about. she is the only doctor i've had who will tell you if she doesn't know and will give you a source to find that answer (referal to a specialist, tell you where you can look it up, or she might say that she'll go look it up for you in time for your next appointment).
Definitely get another opinion if you can. You have the right to go over someone's head.
