Prosthetics as in fake outer limbs.....he provides the hot melt compounds that mimic skin for various things. Sadly, at 12 I was told knee replacement was the only chance I had at living a "normal" life....Now I'm just waiting to be old enough to qualify for it!!

Hanashi, just keep visiting doctors until you find one who will do the replacement. If its this bad so far, its time to get a second opinion on the replacement time line. I almost cried when I learned my bones were too good for a replacement and that its the fact that I have no ligaments on the inner leg side that disqualify me. *hugs & comforts*
CK, should I go all out cooking tomorrow? SoyseiTurky, roasted veggies, mushroom gravy and lemon cake? Or just get Chinese food?
Cali, it is hard to do that when you have no insurance.....Hopefully in the coming year, with Obama, it will be possible!

bp - Hanashi's advice is pretty much what I would've said. ;)
Heli - It's ok to get upset over things that people say sometimes. I used to do the same thing, until I realized that it isn't worth the stress or heartache or whatever you want to call it, and I am above their petty bullshit. Life is too short to let other people get the best of you. If the people who are doing this to you are friends, phase them out for a brief period or tell them straight up that it bothers you. A lot of times, people just don't realize it bothers you, you know? If they still don't get it, I'd say phase them out completely. There are plenty of other people in this world that are worth being friends with you. Just remember that.

FTR: Floradix is way better than regular iron pills. I've beeen taking pills out of laziness. I bought some Floradix this morning & have taken 3 doses since then. Feeling much better now. How many times do I need to go through this before I learn?!?!
