We all seem to talk about and (sometimes) post pictures of our creations. Well here I am to call you all out!! 8-)
I want to see what you've cooked, sewn, painted, drawn, written (well, maybe a link to this one, if it is long), what-have-you! Even if you think it is horrible, we (or rather, I) WANT to see it!!
I'll start it off with my first adventure into the art of gluten free baking.
Its not the greatest, by any means, I heavily modified an old betty crocker recipe to the point where I think no one would recognize it.... 3 layer Banana Coconut gluten free vegan pirate ship cake with gluten free vegan banana cream and chocolate banana cream frostings. I still have to work on making the densities more 'uniform'/no breakage or cracking....
I made these cakes for my brother and his girlfriend (their birthdays are 1 week apart) So it's like a his and hers mini 3 tier cake.
YAY!! I am sooooo glad to see this thread grow!!!
Storm, please know your grandma WOULD NOT be rolling in her grave over your quilt's 'imperfections'. For it being your first one, hand sewn and an intermediate/more difficult pattern, it is EXTRAORDINARY!!!
THANK YOU Sarah for posting pics of your bags cakes and the dresser! I'm excited to see the 'finished' product.
I love seeing everyone's creations.
I'm bumping this back up. I want to see more stuff people!
Oh what a fun thread! I love seeing what people can make!
I have a couple pictures of my first two pieces of clothing I sewed earlier this summer, but I'm at work and my pictures are on my home computer...will post when I get home!

Fish potholder/trivet/whatever ^_^
That's so totally cute faunablues!
I. Want. A. Fishie. Now.
That is so freaking cute!!
I wish I could take credit for the pattern, but alas:

I made this, but didn't double side it (just made one side and did an sc edge around it). You have to change colors a lot, but it works up quickly if anyone's interested!
If i learn how to crochet, i'm so making myself a fishie.
That fishie is super cute. I'm so happy I stumbled on this thread. I love seeing pictures of everyone's creations! I need to dig my camera out and photo some stuff! Tomorrow maybe :)
Okay, so this is nothing special but.......most of you know I am a serious chilehead and grow my own in several mouth-blistering varieties. I've been drying and pickling and packing all summer and last weekend I took my harvest and made the biggest bottle of hot sauce ever! I'm so proud!

don't be embarrassed Storm. I.Want.To.See.It!!
Okay, but I'm not posting a close up. It looks okay from a distance.....basic, but okay. Close up you can see that the stitches aren't exactly even or of the same length but in my defense, I'm doing it by hand. My great grandmother has quilts in the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City and she's probably rolling over in her grave at mine. Hers are all hand quilted of course, but they are so perfect they almost look like they were done on a machine. I didn't have any of that stuff you put between the top and bottom so I used a cut up old blanket in the middle and I have no idea how I'm supposed to finish the edges. I cut the bottom sheet larger than the blocked piece so I could fold it over the edges in case I couldn't figure out anything else to do. I know there are real quilters here on VW and I ask that you laugh quietly.

Wow! You did a great job for your first quilt! Looks great from the picture! Batting is what you use in the middle of the quilt. It comes in cotton and polyester. Great grandma would be proud

That's my daughter hiding behind it.
My dear child, it's gorgeous! And don't worry about the uneven bits. Not one of my quilts is actually a fair rectangle and I've made several. Using the blanket is part of the finest tradition of quilters; you use what you have to make something out of nothing. That's what it was really all about before it became a moneymaking industry.
If I could figure out a way to upload photos I would post one of my quilts.

Ugh! I made something and want to post about it but can't!!
Wow, I'm jealous...you guys are SO TALENTED!!!!!!
I entered a craft swap on another website. It was themed around BONES, and here are two of the things that I made: a bag and a painted box for trinkets and things.

This thread is so much fun. VW is full of talented people...not that I am surprised by that. ::)
Most of the things that I have made I have given as gifts and/or just never thought to take pictures of..but I came across this doll today and thought I would share her with you. Her name is Egwenia.

Well, when I made her I was going for a Victorian look and the name just sort of fits.
