I hardly ever eat at Chipotle because I just don't mess arround when it comes to their burrito. I'll eat the WHOLE thing in one sitting: rice, black beans, hot salsa, corn salsa, lettuce, onions & peppers and guac!! ;)

My daughter and I split the soft tacos, with rice, black beans, corn salsa, and get the guac on the side, for chips. (but they come with the guac so its cheaper to do this and add a little into the tacos, and use a little on the chips.)

Okay, I ate there Sunday night for the first time. We'd been camping/hiking/climbing all weekend, and I was so hungry. I got a naked burrito with rice, black beans, peppers/onions, green salsa, pico de gallo, guac, and lettuce. I also got their chips. Honestly, I like Qdoba better. I mean, it was certainly yummy, but I just can't get over Qdoba's Mexican gumbo. It's perfection. I do think I might have liked Chipotle's guac a little better, but that might have been the extreme hunger talking.

theres a chipotle in nyc that has the option of gardein chicken. it's ok, nothing to get super excited about especially cus it doesnt include the free guac like the veggie option. id rather have the guac than the chickn but i guess if it goes well they might offer it at the other chipotles.

oh - and i like qdoba better too - they have a better veggie mix that includes squash and zucchini, in addition to the peppers and onions. (there might be more in there, too. ive only been once. theyre rarer to find)

They're testing a few locations with the "garden blend" which is vegan grilled chicken. I was lucky enough to be within 50 miles so I tried it, lol.
I won't be going back because it wasn't too good.. The flavor was kind of like seasoned cardboard. The burrito doesn't come with guac ($1.65 extra) but it includes cheese and sour cream. When I politely asked to have guac instead of the non-vegan items in my vegan burrito he wouldn't do it.
2/5 stars. The hot salsa was very good and I was so full after finishing the burrito

I still think Chipotle is pretty weak/overrated.

It is really Americanized. Sorry, I like my Mexican food to taste traditional. Blame my California roots.

I forgot to mention on my review of the "garden blend" vegan chicken burrito that Chipotle gives you underwear stains. Is it really worth it?

i guess i can feel that. i hate it when people try to make cuban food...and it tastes like a white person made it. (if that even makes sense)

Yeah, I realize that, and I was nitpicking, but words matter. Besides, blanket statements about race are never a good idea- or correct -this gringo makes kick-ass Cuban food.

I haven't eaten at Chipotle (although I do have a dog named Truman Chipotle), but I've read here that they (sometimes) charge extra for salsa. Evidently the irony is complimentary.

It doesn't...Cuban is a nationality, not a race. According to the World Fact Book (as of 2002) 65.1% of Cubans are white. https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/cu.html
