In cold weather, soup. Simple veggie soups with some miso stirred in, or that delicious Sweet Potato and Veggie Chilli.
In hot weather, a banana sandwich on toast. Or my new love: Avocado, roast red bell peppers, black olives and lettuce on whole grain with a touch of mayo. Spread-mash the avocado on one slice and embed the olives in it. Top with peppers and lettuce, cover with a mayoed slice.

I've been wanting to post here, but I can't narrow it down to anything. I've decided that all foods I eat are comfort foods. However, grilled avocado sandwiches are especially good..we have them once a week (would have them more if avocados weren't $1.99 each).
