Last year we got the dog a giant rawhide bone (like 3 feet long) and she was terrified of it. I was thinking about making my cats some toys, but they're ALWAYS with me, so it would ruin the surprise. And they don't like cat nip! Weirdos. I made cat treats once, but it was years ago, and I don't think I could take the meatiness anymore.

I think we'll be getting Uncle Harry a new bed - his legs are too short to get on the bed so he has his own in the corner - and it stinks. We usually just go to Goodwill and buy a ton of stuffed animals for them to play with - yeah, they'll be destroyed within a few days, but its better than them destroying the ones from the pet store that cost $10 each. Thats probably all - they don't wear clothes and they don't need anymore treats....what else could you get for a dog?

I usually get my dog some kind of special treat (hes allergic to wheat though and isn't allowed to have rawhide so those are hard to find) and i give him lots. And i get him toys for every holiday (right now we have a valentines day dog, he just destroyed last years easter bunny, and hes almost done destroying last years halloween duck, but he has a new halloween one too) I was looking at toys for him. And i usually just play with him extra on holidays. Heh.

I get my kitties some new catnip mice, and usually a new house or toy or scratching post, and i splurge on them each 1 can of the more expensive cat food a piece and top it with some crunchy bits and treats. That is their holiday "feast".

My pup gets holiday gifts every year in her own stocking :) I usually get her some new stuffed squiky toys (her favorite), treats and a new bone. I actually wrap all her gifts and let her "open" them. I was thinking of making her some homemade doggie biscuits this year - maybe peanut butter or cheese cookies.
