General vegan rave

I'm on vacation with my sister and brother-in-law whom I haven't seen since January (also the time I became a vegetarian...then vegan) and they keep complimenting me on my skin, hair and eyes. I've always had pretty good skin but they say it's much smoother and glows. Also the whites of my eyes are brighter,my hair is softer and I use less lotion on my hands and feet. I'm less nauseous when exercising, have less b.o., my breath is fresher and I snore significantly less. Yay!!! This vege-diet works wonders.
I know one other vegwebber said she had similar results....especially the brighter/whiter eyes thing. :D
That is your body saying thanks for putting healthy fuel into it. ;)
I feel like I need to take a "before" picture pretty soon now! Maybe in six months I'll look fantabulous, too! 8)

That's it! I was looking for that post. Forgot about the headaches....cuz they're gone...lol.

Hehe...well my sister knows I'm vegan. But I tried to play it off like it was good skin care or something. Sneaky, I know. :D I said it must be from using sunblock everyday instead of moisturizer (which I do because I have extremely oily skin). But then she said, "Nah, it's more than that, I think it's internal". Darn right it's internal! ;D ;D And I thought I still snored like a beast (I broke my nose when I was 4 and that triggered all kinds of respiratory malfunctions) but she says I wasn't snoring at all.
I usually wasn't one to take health very seriously. I mean I was an athlete in high school and all but I'd eat whatever and inevitably exercise it off. But now it really feels good to, well, feel good from the inside out. And I'm sporting a nice tan (yes, black peeps can tan too...lol) which adds to my self-confidence. My vacation ends tomorrow though and on the 27th it's back to grad school. Ugh. :( Hope you're enjoying your weekend!
