Cali went and saw my holistic vet for the first time since January.  She actually had thought Cali might die when she saw her in January because the mange has spread to her lymph glands.  She couldn't believe it tonight!!!!
She checked her over and was astounded and excited on how much hair she now has although she still is missing some.  As well, she was amazed at her muscle mass as Cali was just a big swollen lump in January.
A girl that was at the rife treatment tonight who I have seen at the vets over the years many times asked me who my new dog was.  I said Cali, my dog you saw in January.  She was in shock!  Couldn't believe it was the same dog. 
Cali and I are going canoeing on Saturday and hiking with Dog Paddling Adventures.  I know I am not supposed to exercise while I am sick but I booked this months ago and Cali really needs a fun outing.  I will let her paddle instead of me!  ;D  Don't worry, I will take it easy.  I will walk on the hike part and as Cali will be loose, will be able to run like a pup!  Walking is fine for me, just not heavy duty aerobic.  If I find the paddling too stressful, I am sure one the the group leaders will take over for me.
I am so happy that Cali is finally enjoying all life has to offer.  Thanks to everyone who gave the both of us support through her and my very trying time.
