Superstar VegWebber of the Week: nmpixie!

This week's Superstar VegWebber is nmpixie (http://vegweb.com/index.php?action=profile;u=84510)! She's basically the most wonderful raddest best lady in the world and my admiration grew when I learned she was also addicted to Coca Cola. I know, it's a problem for me, too! She's an amazing addition to the forums, a blast to have around, and one of the most requested Superstar VegWebbers of all time! And that's saying a lot, because all of the Superstar VegWebbers get numerous nominations. Oh, and thank the heavens for her Coconut Curry with Bok Choy (http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=25885). I'm in love. Yay nmpixie!!

VegWebber since? Jan 2008

Vegetarian, Vegan or ? Vegan, for 12 years!

Where do you call home? Santa Fe, New Mexico

What do you do when you're not on VegWeb? Work, take care of my crazy 4 yr. old, and cook

Do you have blog or website? No

Do you tweet? No

One unique thing should know about you? I am really, really, really addicted to Coca Cola, I even use it to cook with.

What’s the best thing about being vegan? (if you are!) It is hard to get stuck in a rut, because you get exposed to so many types of cuisine and cooking.

Favorite romantic recipe on VegWeb? Brandi's Famous Caramel Apple Pie! http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=22283.0 It's gooey in a good way, and puts everyone in a good mood.

Favorite recipe on VegWeb to make for non-vegans to show them how amazing vegan food can be? Orange Chicken Style Tofu http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=15978.0 You can't not like this recipe, and you can pretty much sub anything for the oj, and it still comes out good.

Favorite VegWeb recipe for the holidays? Creamy, Cheesy, Delish Mushroom Pastries http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=15978.0 They are good at room temp, and no one asks if they're vegan after they take a bite

One thing you wish you could make vegan but haven’t succeeded at yet? Anything involving vital wheat gluten

#1 Cooking secret/tip? Don't add so much salt? Not really a tip, but I just figure people can add it themselves if they don't like it.

Best music to cook by? New Wave or Stoner Rock

Three people you'd most like to have dinner with? I think the NZ contingent of VW would be a party.

All time favorite restaurant? India House, here in Santa Fe, The Vegetable Garden in Rockville, MD

French fries or ice cream? French Fries, every time.

Soy milk, rice milk, almond milk? Soy

Tofu, tempeh, or seitan? Tofu and seitan tie, not tempeh. I can't make it taste good, but I like it at restaraunts.

Yay!  ;)b I like your dinner party idea.  ;D

Good call on the stoner rock for cooking music, and very good call on your choice of dinner guests haha!

I love baking with soda (cola), especially when I don't have that much money and I LOVE the Orange Tofu as well! Somewhat random question but do you listen to Electric Wizard?
