A burnt cork works well in a pinch. It's similar to kohl.

wet'n'wild. on their website they have a guide to what products are vegan and they don't test on animals.
I didn't see anything on the WnW website that indicated their products were vegan although I certainly hope they are! I used to wear it all the time! Do you have a link to the guide you talked about?

Laura Mercier's cake eyeliner used with a small slant brush. Excellent product used by professionals and not tested on animals.

I buy from NYC, Rimmel, Almay, JANE and Revlon. None of these are tested on animals but as for vegan, not sure about. You definitely don't want to buy Cover Girl, L'Oreal, Maybelline, Physician's Formula. Get used to reading labels. If it doesn't note it, don't buy it and research the item first to be sure.

At my K-mart (eww, I hate Kame-apart) they have that product line. And they are all a dollar. I have a blush stick from them that works really great when I'm traveling (always).

Thanks for posting the link to this company! I ordered a bunch of stuff from them recently. Some of the products are a bit smaller than other brands, but since most items are only $1, that's fine by me. Other larger products tend to get dry over time before they can be used up anyway. This way I can try lots of different colors for the same price as just one of a nationally advertised brand costing several dollars each. Everything I've tried has been great. I'll definitely be buying from them again.
