I bought this product last night for a thanksgiving recipe...(which Ill probally be around asking how to further veganize later) and it requires cheddar crackers. Eco-planet non dairy cheddar crackers-- the box says "vegan friendly" but the ingredients include "natural flavors and natural ingredients" There is no vegan "v" on the box, no vegan stamp...just "vegan friendly." it seems like strange wording if it is indeed vegan, why wouldn't they just say that? And if they wanted that particular phrase why wouldn't they also put the vegan "v"? I bought it despite my skepticism....but what do you guys think? Vegan or not vegan? ???
oh thanks....I wasn't sure if thery were trying to be sneaky or what. I'm tempted to open them now and try them...but then I wont have them for the broccoli casserole! :D
I almost bought these crackers today and thought I'd better check with the experts first. If they taste like those goldfish crackers I'm sold. Thank you for posting. :)
Back in the day, I used peanut butter-filled cheese crackers and coated them in chocolate for a sort of homemade Butterfinger candy bar. They were unfortunately very tasty. So...I have bought some of the Eco-Planet crackers with that same goal in mind. I'm going to match up the shapes, spread peanut butter between them and coat them in chocolate for a holiday treat. :)
I appreciated the recommendation on these crackers. Thank you :)
I've already eaten half the box, ... but was able to put them down momentarily to write a review in the Product Reviews tab.
Yay for Product Reviews!!!!!
