yayayay!!

im so happy, i finally found a vegan organic bread in the regular grocery store, and my mom bought it...no eggs or dairy..its the ezekiel 4:9 whole grain bread with barley and millet and such...has anyone tried this kind?

Not to hijack your thread but Twink's post reminded me of last yr when my DH was taking sandwiches for lunch to work. He bought a crustless bread and their big claim on the package was that they had cut off the crusts "because that's where most of the calories are!" ExcUSE me? Why are there more calories in the crust when it's all the same bread??? This would seem to contradict the other Spanish conventional wisdom that the toastettes (the kind they sell ready made, hard as concrete, for making hors derves which I can't spell) have less calories than regular bread because they're toasted!!
I guess "logic" and "supermarket" don't fit in the same sentence.  I have heard good things about Ezekiel bread, if he bakes as well as he writes it should be good (sorry, Bible scholar joke!) ::)

Hi Pilates Veg,

I have tried many of the FOod for Life breads and products, I love them all. I'm not sure which ones have honey as I'm lacto vegetarian but I encourage you to try more of this company's products if you can find them. Hope you enjoy!!
