It occurred to me recently that having a wiki dedicated to veg*nism would be pretty cool. I did a quick google search for any but didn't find any that seemed to be actively used. Am I overlooking them? If not, does anyone else think a veg*n wiki would be a good idea? I was thinking about starting one if there was enough interest.
Pardon my ignorance, but what's a vegan "wiki." Is that like a wikipedia, but for vegans? If so, I think that's a great idea.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. A wiki that is focused on anything veg*n related.
i think this is brilliant.
Yes, brilliant!
Hey. A wiki is a piece of server software that allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser. I use them frequently with my Master's classes I'm taking right now. The site for creating wiki's that I'm most familiar wtih is http://pbwiki.com/. I find it very easy to use and edit. You can just create a wiki and allow people to go in and edit it whenever. I think it's quite fun. You just have to make a name for your wiki and then the one's I've used just have an email and password for editing.
I did a search for vegan wiki's and came up with the following ones:
http://vegan.wikia.com/wiki/Vegan_Wikia
http://www.daviswiki.org/Vegan
http://www.veganclub.com/index.php?title=Main_Page
There isn't a ton of them, but they are out there!
Hope this helps some.
